Lost stars to return for the shows finale

You have to go back to 2004 to when the first series of Lost was seen and during those first couple a seasons, some key characters left the show, normally by coming a grizzly end. However, as we have come to realise, this is sci-fi and nobody ever dies in that.
With the final series due to be aired next year, rumours are all around especially follow the Lost panel at the Comic Con in San Diego recently.
It is not unusual for the actors that played characters in a show to turn up at these events, but it seems that some of the original characters will be returning to the island for the finale.
Already confirmed are the characters Juliet and Daniel, they died during the last series, but one interesting character is Charlie Pace, played by the British actor Dominic Monaghan. He left the show at the end of season three, but has hinted at a return.
