It is amazing to think that the current “Buzz” film, Avatar was written over fourteen years ago and yet only now has the technology reach such a level that the film can be made in a way that will do it justice.

James Cameron is well known for innovative ideas, but Avatar is set to take the market by storm, if the reports coming out of the Comic Con in San Diego are correct then science fiction fans will be in for a treat.

Avatar is set on a far away planet known as Pandora, this is world like nothing we could imagine with blue people called the Navi, forests and creatures that we could only dream of.

Starring in the film are, Sam Worthington plays soldier Jake Sully, Zoe Saldana plays Neytiri, the Navi princess who befriends him and Sigourney Weaver plays botanist Grace Augustine.

The film is due to be released on the 18th December, but fifteen minutes of the film will be made available for free on “Avatar Day” this takes place on the 21st August.
