Author Robin Parish has found a neat story that has everything that a science fiction fan could want in a book, Mars, Houston, Not too distant future and a crew of a spacecraft making their way to Earth.

Reviews of Offworld have been kind, in fact, the author himself is so pleased that some reviews have “Made his day”, so what is Offworld about?

It is set twenty five years in the future, the first manned Mar mission has gone off without a hitch and the crew of four are on their way back home.

Everything went fine on the red planet, apart from one incident where the mission commander Christopher Burke disappeared for around eighteen hours following a sandstorm. He is found unconscious but no harm was done.

The ship loses contact with mission control and when they land there is no sign of any other humans on earth.

Now that is the basis of a good science fiction story.
