The BBC is working on a new series called “Paradox” it stars Tamzin Outwaite as Detective Inspector Rebecca Flint and Emun Elliott as Astrophysicist Dr Christian King.
It starts off with a series of images picked by Dr King’s laboratory from space; these images turn out to appear to be an incident of some sort, like a disaster or some sort of terrorist attack.
However, from the images it is found that this event is yet to happen as the images appear to have come from the future, but it is soon worked out that it is less than a day into the future. The team have eighteen hours to stop this even from happening.
This is a classic science fiction storyline, where the authorities try to prevent future crimes from happening.
The BBC have a good cast and providing that it can keep the story going throughout the five episodes, it should be good.
Paradox will air in the autumn.

Paradox sounds as if it will be an interesting series. The problem with trying to prevent future crimes is that by changing the future, you risk changing the present.
