An excellent idea!

Not only does one have to write a credible sci-fi story, but you actually have to use a time machine to enter the competition!

Was there a War of the Words 2010, 2011, and will there be one for 2012?

As much as I am for sci-fi nostalgia...a competition does no-one any good if its over!

I hope there will be a 2012 version.... if not, why is this thread at the very tip top of things to read on this site?

Hi

Great to see a competition that gives people the chance to get published. Having recently been through the the process of completing a book and then trying to find, initially, an agent (unsuccessfully) and then a publisher (eventually successfully, I said to somebody the other day, "Writing it was the easy bit, getting it published and the marketing process is the real challenge!"
