When it comes to being an aspiring writer – ie, a writer to aspires to a range of publishing interests – the Miss Snark Literary Agent blog can serve as a valuable insight into the life of a literary agent.

For one, she provides clear information on what – and what not – to do in the submissions process.

She also helps illustrate just how challenging the life of a literary agent can be.

One of the biggest challenges to being published often seems to round on the writer themselves – lack of knowledge of the industry, and lack of professionalism. At the very least, Miss Snark’s blog can help address the former. :)

    Miss Snark stopped adding to her blog in 2007, but it’s still up in its entirety. Good, educational reading about the publishing biz.
